I finished reading Dwight Mason’s book\u00a0Only God – Change your Story, Change the World. \u00a0<\/em>I happen to know Dwight and have worked with him over the last 15 years. \u00a0I loved reading about the stories of his early years as a pastor and the many challenges he faced. \u00a0I remember some of those difficult times and some of the big break throughs along the way in building NewPointe Community Church.<\/p>\n

Dwight is both humble and persistent and that came through in this book. \u00a0The leadership principles he shares are vital to any leader that wants to make a difference in this world.<\/p>\n

The book is about how important our story is and how it fits into God’s bigger story. \u00a0We are all writing a story and have some control over how that story reads moving forward.<\/p>\n

I particularly liked the way he talked about embracing change and the enemies of change. \u00a0Life is filled with changes and challenges and how we handle those changes determines much of our story. \u00a0There is a lot of action steps after each chapter that helps you put into action what you just read.<\/p>\n

Every parent should read the chapter on\u00a0Helping Your Children Write A Great Story.<\/em> \u00a0It is packed with practical wisdom on how to raise children in a healthy way.<\/p>\n
