{"id":645,"date":"2011-07-21T01:48:27","date_gmt":"2011-07-21T01:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chadstutzman.net\/?p=645"},"modified":"2011-07-21T01:48:27","modified_gmt":"2011-07-21T01:48:27","slug":"whats-feeding-your-mind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chadstutzman.com\/?p=645","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s Feeding Your Mind?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-647\" href=\"http:\/\/chadstutzman.net\/07\/2011\/whats-feeding-your-mind\/pizza_and_people\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-647\" title=\"pizza_and_people\" src=\"http:\/\/chadstutzman.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/pizza_and_people-300x176.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"176\" \/><\/a>Over the past several years my wife and I have changed some of our behaviors as it relates to food and exercise.\u00a0 We decided that we wanted to lose weight and keep it off in order to feel and look better.\u00a0 We started slow by getting on a system that taught us how to eat right.\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t a diet, it was a training system.\u00a0 We had to relearn how to eat the right portions and the right kinds of food.\u00a0 We had to start thinking about how many servings of each kind of food we would eat each day.\u00a0 We also had to think about movement and motivation.\u00a0 Incorporating exercise into our lives and finding out what would motivate us to do this the rest of our lives.\u00a0 So we changed our behavior by changing our thinking and we changed our thinking by learning the truth and applying it to our lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">So what is influencing your thinking right now?\u00a0 What are you feeding your mind that is influencing how you think and therefore how you behave?\u00a0 What&#8217;s feeding your marriage?\u00a0 What&#8217;s feeding your parenting?\u00a0 What&#8217;s feeding your relationship with God?\u00a0 What&#8217;s feeding your work life?\u00a0 What&#8217;s feeding your finances?\u00a0 What if the things that are feeding our minds are lies?\u00a0 If the sources of what we feed our minds is not truth, then our beliefs and behaviors can be destructive to our well being and relationships.\u00a0 What are you doing now that is hurting your marriage, your leadership at work, your relationship with your kids, your relationship with God?\u00a0 Often times we do what we have learned from others and many times that is filled with lies and half truths.\u00a0 If you really want to transform your marriage, your parenting, your leadership, your intimacy with God or your physical health, it starts with a training program.\u00a0 You need to start to go to the right sources to feed your mind in these areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Some of those sources include God&#8217;s Word, wise men and women, books from experts on marriage, parenting and relationships that follow Biblical principles.\u00a0 Whatever you want to transform, you must first transform your thinking by learning the truth and apply it to your life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past several years my wife and I have changed some of our behaviors as it relates to food and exercise.\u00a0 We decided that we wanted to lose weight and keep it off in order to feel and look better.\u00a0 We started slow by getting on a system that taught us how to eat &hellip;
